Catering Policies and Procedures

  1. Prices listed include service utensils, equipment, and skirting for food table(s). Prices also include high-quality disposable products.  China place settings and white linen napkins are available for an additional charge per person of $.200 for breakfast or lunch, and $3.00 for dinner. Tableside coffee and water service is included with china rental.
  2. A 20% service charge (for full service) or 15% delivery charge (for delivery only, minimum $25 charge) will be applied to all food, beverage and equipment rental items. In addition, 6% state sales tax will be applied to food and beverage purchases.
  3. A non-refundable, non transferable deposit is required to confirm your reservation.  Deposit amounts will vary depending on the nature and size of your event. FULL PAYMENT OF YOUR EVENT IS REQUIRED SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT.  If you have items charged on the basis of consumption, the payment for these items will be due at the conclusion of your event.
  4. Payments may be made with cash, check or cashier’s check.  Credit cards (VISA & MasterCard) will be accepted;  however, there is a 3.5% surcharge for credit card transactions.  We honor corporate billing with the approval of a credit application, which must be approved five days prior to your party.
  5. Guaranteed guest counts are due ten (10) days prior to your scheduled event. It is your responsibility to contact us with this guarantee.  If a guarantee is not received, we will prepare and charge for the highest estimated guest count. We will prepare 5% over the amount guaranteed. If you will be providing food or beverages for your DJ., photographer, videographer or any other vendor, they must be included in your guaranteed guest count.
  6. Event menus need to be finalized four weeks prior to your event.
  7. Food and beverage prices are subject to change due to market conditions. Menu prices will be guaranteed 30 days prior to your event.  In addition, Above & Beyond reserves the right to make a policy change in good faith with 30 days notice.
  8. Above & Beyond cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.
  9. Due to Health Department regulations and liability issues, food or beverage left over after an event may not be taken home or left with the client.
  10. We offer (3) styles of cake cutting service. Each style includes our chef cutting the cake. A $.75 per person cake service allows for plastic plates and forks, and buffet-style service. A $1.25 per person cake service allows for plastic plates and forks, and tableside service.  A $1.75 per person cake service allows for china, silverware, and buffet-style OR tableside service.  Above & Beyond is not responsible for the condition of, or any damage to the cake brought into the facility from a third-party provider.
  11. An additional charge of $2.50 per person applies when selecting two plated entrees for any event.  Other service fees may be applied if additional servers or bartenders are requested for your event.
  12. If you delay food service times, Above & Beyond cannot be held responsible for the temperature or quality of food. There will be an additional labor charge of $100 if your group is 30 minutes late, and $25 per quarter hour thereafter.
  13. You may not select off the lunch menu for food service that begins after 3:00 p.m.
  14. Decorations must be approved by your event planner and must be removed from the facility by the guest. Confetti, glitter, rice and birdseed cannot be used in the facility.
  15. MOST IMPORTANTLY, YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST ENJOY EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR EVENT!
